Buddy Bruni was joined by his daughter Triana Sames in cutting the ribbon on a bench dedicated to Bruni and his wife Linda during a ceremony held on Tuesday, May 14 at the Laredo Community College Fort McIntosh Campus.

The bench, which is located across from Arechiga Hall, is one of three new benches donated as part of the L.C.C. Education Foundation’s bench project.

Earlier Monday, City of Laredo Mayor Raul G. Salinas and Mayor Pro Tempore Juan Narvaez welcomed representatives Patricia Montemayor and Rose Flores from the Society of Renaissance Women, to help promote their upcoming Zumbathon fundraiser.
