The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League delivered toys to the pediatric cancer patients and children with blood related diseases at Doctors Hospital on Wednesday afternoon . The Bucks, along with Doctors Hospital, collected 189 toys during their annual toy drive December 2nd game at Laredo Energy Arena.

“To see the smiles on the kid’s faces when our players and Bucky walk through the door is priceless,” said Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski . “It warms your heart to know that the kid’s really appreciate it. It’s the best event that we do all year long.”

The 189 toys collected this year surpassed last year’s total of 157.

The Bucks and Doctors Hospital have held their annual toy drive for the past nine years.
