PADRE ISLAND , TX. - Authorities in South Padre Island warned of the presence of jellyfish in the northern beaches and warned visitors of the risks of a sting or exposure to the gas they give off . Since the weekend thousands of jellyfish have appeared in the area . These marine organisms form a blue line on the beach, and some are living on the water.

In Matamoros , Oscar Delgado, administrator of Playa Bagdad , said the jellyfish were presented atypically in this season because weather conditions were highly variable , it went from freezing cold to summer heat.
