LAREDO, TX. - Police authorities arrested two men on suspicion of committing violent robberies taking their victims to ATMs to get the money they demanded.
Joe Baeza, Police Department spokesman, said that after thorough investigations, police detectives apprehended Andres Garza, 23, and Cesar Javier Estrada, 21.
They were charged of aggravated robbery and organized crime in the first-degree felony, and were sent to the Webb County Jail on bail of $300,000 each.
They are accused of mugging a woman in the parking lot of a Shell gas station nearby Mines Road.
Detainees allegedly took the victim to an ATM in her own vehicle to take out money. The amount was not specified, but it was less than $500.
There is also another investigation of a similar robbery.
