Parents arrested for child negligence

LAREDO, TX. - Police officers arrested a couple accused of neglecting their autistic son who was found wandering in a busy intersection. The police report indicated that the boy was located at Clark and Newport while wearing only underwear.

The patrol began searching for his parents because the child was unable to provide data to find them. For 90 minutes, the police searched for the parents until they received a call from the main station where they made a missing child's report.

The officers proceeded to the arrest Reynaldo Leal, 32, and Jennifer Morales, 29, on charges of child negligence.
