Laredo Rotary Club, Webb Sheriff’s Office give $39,000 to LCC

LAREDO, TX - The funds will be used to establish the Laredo Rotary Club Law Enforcement Endowment, which in turn will fund the Sheriff Martin Cuellar/Laredo Rotary Club Criminal Justice Scholarship.

The funds were provided by Webb County Sheriff’s Office forfeiture funds. The first recipients of the scholarship, LCC students Elena C. Hinojosa and Yolanda Olvera, will receive their scholarships for the Fall 2012 semester.
