Ex BBVA manager recieves 12 months in prision

LAREDO, TX. -Patricia Garcia, 50 years old, appeared before the Federal Court last March before Judge Scott Hacker and decided to plead guilty to one count of fraud and another charge on seizing people's money.

The woman was sentenced to 12 months and must return the money s he took from the account. The offense was committed while she was manager of a BBVA Compass Bank branch taking $ 101, 845 from a client . The case was investigated by federal agents after detecting the embezzlement in an audit.
