This summer, parents with kids ages 3 to 5 can enhance their children’s learning and artistic skills by sending them to college: the Camilo Prada Child Development Center at the Laredo Community College South Campus.

LCC is now enrolling for the summer camp to be offered at the LCC child development center, which will meet Monday through Friday, June 4-22. The fun continues with a second session from July 9-20.

All sessions meet from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The camp offers an array of activities to help children develop their academic learning skills and creativity. It also focuses on physical health through dance, exercise and other fun activities.

The center’s assistant director, Cynthia Perez, says the camp will be a great opportunity for kids to learn and explore. “The camp will be an exciting experience for kids.

We allow them to explore their creativity and think outside the box. We always encourage the children to express themselves and to learn at their own pace.

Children will have an awesome time in the camp.” Registration is ongoing at the LCC child development center. Space is limited. The camp fee is $150 for the first session and $100 for the second session.

Tuition includes breakfast, lunch and a gift bag. For more information, contact the LCC child development center at 794-4561.
