LAREDO, TX. - The preliminary report of authorities said that the teen was traveling on Zapata road on his motorcycle and when reaching Pine Street, he crashed into a vehicle on Sunday morning.

Initial inquiries established that the motorcyclist has a red light and fortunately he was wearing a helmet.

Due to strong impact, he received severe injuries in his legs and although at first firefighters transported him to Laredo Medical Center, he was later airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
