LAREDO, TX.-A very compromising photo is causing controversy in social networks. The image shows an officer of the Police Department in patrol car, with a girl in lingerie outside the unit talking to him.
"All of this was reviewed already and there is nothing illegal about the conduct of the police officer. He was doing his job and the woman simply approached him more than usual.
That was it,” said Mayor Raul Salinas.
One person was the one who surprised the officer on the 1271 patrol who arrived at the drive thru liquor store at the intersection of Zapata Highway and Santa Clara.
Apparently an employee of the business called police to report the theft of a cell phone and the patrol went to pick up the incident report.
The photo shows women standing outside the patrol in the driver's side, while the officer remains parked on the sidewalk.
The Police Department officials already investigated the case and found nothing out of the law.
However, social networks circulated several photographs that raised much controversy and continue commenting criticizing how the officer addressed this complaint.
