LAREDO, TEXAS - The best x-ray technology has been installed to review bus and light cars by the U.S. Customs on Juarez-Lincoln International Bridge.

The equipment is very fast and reliable that used to only exist at the international crossing in Otay Mesa, California. This equipment has already been installed in Laredo.

"We are in the period of training for all staff. Then we will have four weeks to test the equipment to decide if everything is running smoothly,” said Joe Uribe, port director for the Customs and Border Protection U.S.

These x-ray equipment has been installed on the east side of the bridge, where vehicles crossing can simply go through a platform without a delay.
