LAREDO, TEXAS. - October 9 is the deadline to sign up to vote in Webb County.

Young adults that are 17 years and 10 months, who will be 18 before or on November 6, must register to vote with their school campaigns.

"I am Laredo, I vote" is a campaign held throughout the city. The active forces, include media groups, schools (high school, community college and university), service clubs, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), professional groups, trade unions, friends, colleagues and coworkers.

Businesses promoting citizens to register and vote are El Mañana of Nuevo Laredo, Laredo Morning Times, LareDOS, KGNS/CW/ Telemundo, KLDO/ KXOF/Telefutura, KVTV, Guerra Communications, R Communications, Lamar Advertising, LISD, UISD, TAMIU, LCC, and the elections office of Webb County.
