LAREDO, Tx.- For the eighth consecutive year the Annual Christmas and Posada Celebration took place on the Laredo Community College (LCC) campus presented by the spanish club Nuestras Raíces.By: DANIEL SALAZAR
The event had lots of variety and coloring with the interpretations of Mariachi Palomino of LCC; as well as a piñata for the kids with the participation of a group of matachines of San Vicente from the Paul Church, that presented their dance for the very first time.
Several members of the Nuestra Raíces club also reacted the traditional pilgrimage that María, José and the angels did on their way to Belem, using several school buildings on the campus to complete the usual christmas carols.
