The Laredo Chamber of Commerce celebrated its second annual event, titled Christmas Tasting, at the reception building The Atrium.

LAREDO, Tx.- The Laredo Chamber of Commerce celebrated its second annual event, titled Christmas Tasting, at the Atrium Banquet Hall & Reception Center.

"We carry this out this event so that the members of the chamber can meet one another, and have the different restaurants of the city participate by offering food samples; we are very happy to offer this type of services to our members," the Membership's Coordinator, Miriam Castillo, mentioned.

Castillo added that the benefit of having this type of events is to be able to do some networking between the members with the aim of increasing their business.

Aside from the food sampling there were several other activities, such as a raffle, a game called the 'networker of the night' and the winner would be the person who got the most business cards during the evening.
