"If time permits this Monday the project to pave the truck routes will start, and some streets in north Laredo will be closed," Xotchitl Mora Garcia said.

Mora Garcia, the city's spokesperson, also said that the contracting company in charge of the public works will coordinate with the businesses in the area to leave and entry and exit access to the industrial parks.

"Drivers should take precautions in the area where the public works are going to be taking place," Mora added.

By Monday some streets at Killam industrial park will be closed, and traffic will be restricted from the intersection of Amparan and Auburn Road, where the paving projects will be they will start paving.

On February 10th, Transportation Avenue at Inter America industrial park will also be closed for paving; and this same day, at Texas industrial park, they will be closing San Mateo Road.

The local authorities decided to invest in this 18 million dollar project and implement it in several phases, and that way cause less inconveniences to the public.
